He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Humphrey and Mattie Thomas Reid. He is survived by: his wife Antha Ellen Church Reid; his children, Roxanne Reid of Atlanta, GA and Keith Reid (Allison) of Wilkesboro; his pet Rosco; and his siblings, Kay Wright of Statesville and Tim Reid (Carol) of Statesville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Heritage Room at the Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wilkesboro United Methodist Church (309 W Main St p, Wilkesboro, NC 28697). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the Scenic Memorial Gardens (545 Moravian Falls Rd, Wilkesboro, NC 28697).
