He was predeceased by: his parents, Vestal Junior and Ollie Gregory Nance. He is survived by: his sisters, Anita Whitby of North Wilkesboro and Linda Mabe of Hays; his nieces and nephews, Jessica Coleman (Charlie) of Charlotte, Faith Hickman of North Wilkesboro, Jonathan Mabe (Brenna) of Boonville and Stephen Mabe (Hannah) of Youngsville; his aunt Blanche Shumaker of North Wilkesboro; his uncle Wade Gregory of North Wilkesboro; and his cousin Bojangles.
