It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Shaw (Wilkesboro, North Carolina), born in Pascagoula, Mississippi, who passed away on January 10, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert R. Corley and Jimmie Lois Eubanks Corley; her husband Jimmie Bryant Shaw, Sr.; her son-in-law Wesley W. Gregory; and her siblings, Bobbie Johnson and Robert Hal Corley.
She is survived by: her children, Gia Amato Gregory of Wilkesboro, Michelle Amato Livingston (Matt) of Greenwood, MS, Stephanie Amato Morris and Dr. Francis X. Amato, III (Gena Amason Amato) of Blowing Rock; her stepdaughter Loretta Shaw Langdon (Dirk) of Smithfield, NC; her grandchildren, Chase Alexander Wylie, Justin Brady Morris, DJ Langdon (Jodee Boswell Langdon), Gray Robert Brower, Madelaine Claire Amato, Lillian Nicole Amato, Abigail Leigh Amato, Shelby Layne Browning Warren (Caleb Warren), Sarah Landreth "Laila" Browning and Nathan Lewis; her great grandchild Finley Shaw Langdon; and her siblings, Peggy Green Palmer (Alex) of Red Banks, MS, JoAnne Williams of Cape Girardeau, Mitzi Pittman Workman of Collierville, TN and Jack Corley (Doreena) of Valparaiso, IN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
