With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Hege Glass of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on July 2, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Lee and Nina Lucille Wilson Hege; her husband Carey Gideon; and her daughter Pamela G. Shepherd. She is survived by: her sons, Carey George Glass (June) of North Wilkesboro and Christopher Hege Glass (Jane) of Jefferson; her granddaughters, Kari Blackburn and Anna Glass; her great grandchild Austin Blackburn (Kiyly Elledge); her great great grandchild Ember Blackburn; and her son-in-law Harold Shepherd of North Wilkesboro.
