She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Glass and Alma Milam Glass; her husband Staley Wade Rountree; her son Robert "Bunky" Rountree; and her sister Christine Rhodes.
She is survived by: her son Steven Rountree (Tammy) of Wilkesboro; and her sister Ella Jean McNeil of Millers Creek. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
