He was predeceased by: his parents, Loid Silas Johnson (Sandy) and Bessie Griffin Johnson; and his brother-in-law Richard "Bo" Griffith. He is survived by: his daughter Savannah Johnson; and his siblings, Sandy Roberts, Sabrina Griffith, Martha Barker, Wadie Sloop (Rick), Radford Johnson (Tonya) and Sammy Johnson (Shelia). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great- nephews.
