She was predeceased by: her parents, Chelsie Hughes and Annie Jones Ellis; and her brothers, Jessie Wayne Ellis and Royce Ellis. She is survived by: her grandson Ellis B. Shacklette; her great-niece Meredith Martin; her husband Billy Joe Huffman; her children, Patricia Huffman Shacklette (Peter) of Roanoke Rapids and Keith Huffman (Barbara) of Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Ellis Shacklette, Brad Calloway and Brittany Hemrick; her great grandchild Mila Hemric; her brother Charles Ellis (Sue) of Wilkesboro; and her sister-in-law Peggy Ellis of North Wilkesboro.
