He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Howard, Faye Smithey, Elvin and Lucille Combs. He is survived by: his parents, Larry Combs and Judy Smithey Combs; his aunts, Joan Huffman (Lonnie) of Mulberry, Shirley Paxson (Johnny) of North Wilkesboro and Mildred Call (Charles) of Boomer; and his uncle James Smithey (Doris) of Mulberry. He is also survived by his close friends, many cousins.
