She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcellus Taylor and Barbara Smith Taylor; her husband Edward Ellis Prevette; her daughter Barbara Mastin; and her siblings, Sarah Feaster and Lloyd Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Prevette of Wilkesboro; her son-in-law Buster Mastin of North Wilkesboro; and her granddaughter Amanda Adams of Cincinnati, Ohio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
