He is survived by: his children, Patrick Scott Groce (Terri) of Wilkesboro, NC and Julie Groce of Dallas, TX.; his grandchildren, Lindsay Groce Ward (Drew) of North Wilkesboro, Stacey Groce Neece (Ben) of Wilkesboro, Graylan Groce (Aubrey) of North Wilkesboro, Max Groce of Sylva, NC, Allison Gaw of Dallas, TX and Gage Meeks of Dallas, TX.; and his great grandchildren, Clayton Ward, Canaan Ward, Vivian Neece, Georgia Neece, Henry Groce, Harper Groce, Holly Groce, Hudson Groce and Riley Rivera.
