He was predeceased by: his parents, James Garfield and Cora Belle Lovette Eller; his daughter Jorene Eller; and his siblings, Dolly Clinton, Pearl Hayes, Cora Lou Burchett, Grant Eller, Henry Eller and Lonnie Eller.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Elledge Eller; his children, Penny Bentley (David) of Kitty Hawk, Darlene Mikeal (Bret) of Wilkesboro, Joe Eller (Sheri) of Wilkesboro and Michael Garfield Eller of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, Joel Parks Bentley, Beth Wagoner (Thomas), Deidre Mikeal, Olivia Church (Ethan), Justin Bentley and Seth Eller; his great grandchildren, Gracelynn Foster, Ethan Foster, Haley Wagoner, Jacob Wagoner, Harper Church and Hattie Church; his sister Mary Fox of Seattle, WA.; and his nephew Ronnie Eller (Chris).
