With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Douglas Nichols of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on January 18, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Nichols and Pearl Bare Nichols; and his brothers, Alton and Terry Nichols. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Nichols (Angel) of Wilkesboro and Janina Waller of Thomasville; his siblings, Carlos Nichols (Diane) of North Wilkesboro, Coolidge Nichols of Millers Creek, Judy Blackburn of Millers Creek, Wilma Shatley of Millers Creek, Joyce Robinson of Millers Creek, Kathy Nichols of Millers Creek, Debbie Wayne (Keith) of Millers Creek and Patsy Nichols of Millers Creek; his grandchildren, Cole Poe, Matthew Waller, Alex Nichols and Mia Nichols; and his great grandchild Konner Lackey.
