It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Tugman of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on February 26, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Lycurgus "Curg" and Della Mae Stout McNiel; her husband John Talmadge Tugman; and her sister Wanda McNiel Alexander (Reece) of Winston-Salem, NC.. She is survived by: her grandsons, Eagle Scouts and Troop; her sister Lottie McNiel Hawkins of Tucson, AZ.; her daughters, Mara Lynn Tugman of Wilkesboro, NC and Martha Jean "Marti" Prevette (Larry Edward "Eddie" Tugman) of Raleigh, NC; her daughter-in-law Lisa Drum Tugman of Charlotte, NC; her grandsons, Jonathan Tugman (Lauren) of Atlanta, GA and Andrew Tugman (Emily); her great grandchildren, Benjamin and Owen of Huntersville, NC; and her son Matthew Tugman of Greenville, NC.. She is also survived by many friends and relatives.
