She is survived by: her children, Victoria Garrett Kaneklides (Norman) of Asheville and John Keith Garrett (Leasa); her grandchildren, Joy Rogers (Chris), John Kaneklides (Regan), Madison Garrett and Dylan Garrett; her great grandchildren, Noah, Miriam Rogers and Malia Garrett-Holland; and her brother Dr. James Curtis Abell (Pat) of Statesville, NC..
