He was predeceased by: his father Vernon Jarvis; and his siblings, Hazel Hendren, Ralph Shew, Lee Shew, Don Jarvis and Rex Jarvis.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Lenderman Jarvis; his sons, Tony Jarvis of Wilkesboro and Todd Jarvis of Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Daniel Jarvis (Taylor), Tim Jarvis (Ashley), Sara Bryan (Jared), Brianna Jarvis and Hayeslei Jarvis; and his great grandchildren, Lilli Jarvis, Kaylee Jarvis, Hadley Jarvis, Harper Jarvis and Holland Bryan.
