It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Edward McEntire of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Harold and Maggie Chapman McEntire; and his siblings, Gaynell Campbell, Harold McEntire and Lanny McEntire.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy McEntire of Wilkesboro and Heather McEntire of Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Lucas McEntire (Brandy) of Wilkesboro and Kristen Morales (Mauro) of North Wilkesboro; his great grandchildren, Kimberlynn Pearson, Emma Miller, Bailey Miller, Gracelynn Williams, Macyn McEntire, Lucas McEntire, Jr., Ezekial "Zeke" Morales and Olivia Morales; and his sisters, Kay Hayes (Billy) of Wilkesboro and Nancy McEntire of Mooresville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
