She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulysses Grant Winkler and Willie Glea Norris Winkler; her husband Howard Taft Church, Jr. (N. C.); her brother Jerry Grant Winkler; and her son-in-law Jerry Sidden.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Church Sidden of Wilkesboro, Michelle Church Isom (Dale) of Wilkesboro and Douglas Howard Church of Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Nicole Deal Slate (Johnny) of Wilkesboro, Dustin Deal (Whitney) of Wilkesboro, Daniel Isom (Katie) of North Wilkesboro and Caitlen Isom Wurdeman (Matthew) of Elkin; her great grandchildren, Lillie Slate, Juliana Isom, Will Slate, Glory Maeve Deal, Maggie Slate, Mercer Deal, Ruthie Deal, Wilder Wurdeman, Lexi Isom, Annie Isom and Eli Wurdeman; and her sisters-in-law, Kathleen Church Ellis (Bill) of Wilkesboro and Patricia Winkler of Purlear. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
