She was predeceased by: her parents, Vance Miller and Maude Roten Miller; and her spouse Thomas Clifford Faw. She is survived by: her children, Gail Leger of Wilkesboro, Jerry Faw (Crystel) of Boomer and Sandi Gambill (Steve) of Mooresville; and her grandchildren, Ricky Hall of Millers Creek, Matthew Hall of Oak Island, Michael Leger of Myrtle Beach, Jeria Carothers (Jon) of Portland, TN, Timothy Faw (Leslie) of Durham, Landen Longest (Tim) of Raleigh, Anna Kathryn Stevens (Chase) of Chapel Hill and Hollyn Gambill of Mooresville. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
