He is survived by: his daughter Bridgett (Doug) of North Wilkesboro; his siblings, Tom Cleary of Winston Salem and June Adams of Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Lindsay Gardner of North Wilkesboro, Amy Dickert (Chip) of Easley, SC and Allender Gardner (Holly) of Greenville, SC; his significant other Ronnie Jones; his nephew Larry Baity; his nieces, Marty Laws, Carol Owens and Kathy Jones; and his friend Booty Billings.
