He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster Chambers and Bertha Love Chambers; his wife Patricia Delduca Chambers; and his sisters, Katie Chambers, Beatrice Smithey and Eula Chambers.
He is survived by: his daughter Angela Chambers Peake (Steve) of Nashville, TN; his brothers, Roby Chambers (Jane) of Wilkesboro and Gurney Chambers (Ann) of Cullowhee; and his friend Wanda Oakley Wilson.
An entombment was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fishing Creek Arbor Baptist Church Cemetery (2446 Fishing Creek Arbor Rd, Wilkesboro, NC 28697).
