She is survived by: her children, Pat Faw Smithey of Wilkesboro and James Kenneth Shumaker (Jean) of Virginia; her grandchildren, Gregory Faw (Cynthia), Stephanie Osborne, Leslie Pierce, Laura Krone (Durk) and Susan McGinn (Mark); her great grandchildren, Ben Pierce, Kaitlyn Pierce, Elizabeth Anderson (Lucas) and Emily Faw; her brother Bob G. Bumgarner (Betty) of Wilkesboro; and her nephew Jeff Bumgarner.
