He was predeceased by: his parents, Felts Curtis and Venie Church Curtis; and his son Johnny Curtis. He is survived by: his wife Blanche A. Curtis; his daughter Patricia Curtis Brooks; his siblings, Buddy Curtis (Connie), Jessee Curtis (Wanda), Nancy C. Drenen, Barbara C. McNeill, Rhetta Sue Caudle and Marlene Laws; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Curtis, James Anderson, Earl Anderson, Benny Beshears, Jewel Parsons, Rose Lunsford (Allen) and Nadine Anderson. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Chapel (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at the Fishing Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (1191 Old 60, Wilkesboro, NC 28697).
