It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Cook of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 11, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Johnson and Vergie Gregory Johnson; her former husband James Frank Pearson, Jr.; her son John F. Pearson; and her siblings, Anna Bach and John Trealy Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Clyde Cook; her son James Gary Pearson of Wilkesboro; her grandson Jordan Pearson (Bailey) of Wilkesboro; her stepsons, Gregory J. Cook (London) of Greensboro and Jeffery H. Cook (Diane) of Greensboro; her grandsons, Gregory J. Cook, Jr. (Julie) of Raleigh, Joshua S. Cook (Lauren) of Greensboro, Jeffery A. Cook (Marianne) of Greensboro and Joseph H. Cook of Greensboro; her sisters, Betty S. Dancy of North Wilkesboro and Carolyn Dearman of North Wilkesboro; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Pearson of North Wilkesboro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
