She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ivey Steele and Carrie Lou Minton Steele; her husband Vernest Taylor; her brothers, Charles Robert Steele (Bobby) of Zionville and Ivey Steele, Jr. of Athens, GA.; her children, Edwin Taylor and Elizabeth Harris (Susie) of Wilkesboro; her granddaughter Charly Harris of Wilkesboro; her great grandchildren, Tre and Kassidy Lowe of Wilkesboro; and her brother Raymond Steele (Lulabelle) of Hiddenite. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
