He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Michelle Arce Sloop; his son Dylan Rhodes Sloop (Risa) of Moravian Falls; his stepchildren, Taylor Gann of Wilkesboro, Jordan Pearson of Wilkesboro and Kyle Gann of New York; and his siblings, Teresa Sloop Church (Mark), Regina Sloop Pierce and Davy Sloop (Pam) of Wilkesboro.
