He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Bynum Nichols and Viola Dyson Nichols; and his siblings, Barbara Parsons, Mike Nichols and Harold Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandy" McGinnis Nichols of Wilkesboro; his stepdaughters, Jackie Castle of North Wilkesboro and Julie Castle of North Wilkesboro; his daughter Victoria Lowe of Yadkinville; his granddaughter Elizabeth Lowe of Yadkinville; his sister Mary Magdalene White of Hamptonville; and his pet Zoie.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pilgrim Baptist Church (493 Pilgrim Baptist Church Rd, Wilkesboro, NC 28697). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
