He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus White and Carrie Davis White; and his brother Glenn White. He is survived by: his wife Flora White of Wilkesboro; his children, Vicky Brewer of Alabama, Edward White of Rock Hill and Candice White (Eddie) of Rock Hill; his stepchildren, Gary Johnson, Jr. (Kelly) of Hamptonville, Tammy Minton (Stuart) of North Wilkesboro, Russell Johnson (Tonya) of Boonville and Tonya Johnson (Mike) of Purlear; and his siblings, Ronnie Banks (Susan) of Rock Hill and Brenda Gates (Don) of Lincolnton. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
