He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Wood and Grace Viola Crouse Wood; and his brothers, Cabel Wood and Claude Wood. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Billings Wood; his children, Karrey Elizabeth Rachelle Wood, Savannah Jeanne Alexandra Wood, Lileigh Katherine Wood, Joshua Clinton Wood of Wilkesboro, Brian Jacob Wood of Wilkesboro and Jonathan Eli Wood of Wilkesboro; his siblings, Mabel Wood of Elkin, Betty Wood of Elkin, Bill Wood (Jean) of State Road, Wayne Wood (Pat) of Boomer, Kelly Wood (Barbara) of Jonesville, Floyd Wood (Jeannie) of Lexington and Harold Wood of Sparta; his mother-in-law Mildred Billings of Elkin; and his siblings-in-law, Arlin Wood of Lumberton, Rachel Bolton (Brad) of Elkin, Belinda Williams (Don) of Morenci, MI, Tommy Billings of Wytheville, VA, Allen Billings (Bonni) of Navarre, FL, Nathan Billings and Maedawn of Elkin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
