He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivory Ball and Laura Marlowe Ball; his wife Ruby Edwards Ball; and his siblings, Annie Ball Childress, Gracie Ball Smithey, Minnie Ball Millsaps, Viola Ball Weaver, Merlin Ball, Mansfield Ball and Ancil Ball.
He is survived by: his sister Dotty Ball Stafford (R. C.) of Kannapolis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
