It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Goad of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Emett Edgar Smith; her stepfather James E Taylor; and her stepbrother Jimmy Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Bryan Fogleman Goad; her daughter Julie Watkins (D. Jerome Watkins) of Wilkesboro; her mother Louise Hawks Taylor of Mt Airy; her granddaughters, Vanessa and Rylee Watkins of Wilkesboro; her stepsister Lynn Beech of Charlotte; her brother Clyde "Nubbins"; her sister-in-law Judy Goad of Columbus; her nieces, Amy Goad Cotter (Matt) of Columbus and Kimberly Sauter (BJ) of Batavia, Ohio.; her great-nephews, Garrett Cotter, Will Cotter, Luke Cotter of Columbus, Bryan Sauter and Brandon Sauter; her great-niece Kyla Sauter; her uncle Charlie Hawks of Sevierville, TN; her aunt Betty Ausborne of Mt Airy; her friend River; and her pets, Gang and Baby.
