With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarence Carty (Wilkesboro, North Carolina), born in Washington, Virginia, who passed away on February 9, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maiden Carty and Ella Mae Holbrook Carty; his wife Helen Stout Carty; and his grandchildren, Valerie Teague and Jonathan Teague.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Lynn Carty (Gigi) and Timothy Ray Carty (Vicki) of North Wilkesboro; and his grandchildren, Misty Davis (Alex), Mindy Teague (Drew), Tasha Summerford (Dan), Christina Harrold (James), Shonna Davis, Tabitha Carty, Rebecca Minton (Anthony), Brandi Linville (Kenneth) and Samantha Carty (Michael). He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
