He is survived by: his children, Frank Porter (Rika) of Charlotte, Holly Porter of Beaufort and Becky Stancill (Bill) of Raleigh; his siblings, Steve Porter, Royce Foster of Roanoke, Virginia and Janice Broome of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Jordan Edwards (Korinna), Katharine Edwards, Alexandra Worrel (Reid) and Madison Dean (Jackson); and his great grandchild Alexis Edwards.
