She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvil Taft and Esther Gertrude Vickers Foster; her son James Clayton Pardue Jr.; and her siblings, Mary Frances Richardson, Ivan Grant Foster and William "Mack" McElwee Foster (Dare).
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Fuller (Eugene) of Wilkesboro and Sharon Phillips (Terry) of North Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Church (Kenny), Tiffany Reece, Emily Mabrito (Jeff), Heather Ward (Jamie), Katy Hinson (Michael), Tanner Phillips (Amber) and Bennett Phillips; her great grandchildren, Kendall Reece, Grant Reece, Charlie Ward, Brady Ward, Connor Church, Savannah Mabrito, Mckena Church, Harrison Mabrito, Brenna Church, Emilia Mabrito, Tucker Phillips, Wyatt Hinson, Alivia Mabrito, Tate Phillips, Katherine Mabrito and Karsyn Hinson; her daughter-in-law JoAnn Pardue; and her siblings-in-law, Lavaughn Foster and James Richardson.
