He was predeceased by: his parents, Fons Lee and Lula Clark Rogers; his wife Joan Middleton-Sharpe Rogers; and his siblings, Clarence, Cecil, Robert, Jack Rogers and Janice Costner.
He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Rogers Turner (David) of Mooresville; and his grandson Jacob Truitt Rogers (Lizz) of Denver, Colorado..
