He is survived by: his parents, Charlie Royce and Dora Whitherspoon Boggs; and his siblings, Mary Joyce Tedder of North Wilkesboro, Edna Jones of Jefferson, Larkin Boggs of Wilkesboro and Ernest Boggs of West Jefferson.
