He was predeceased by: his parents, Camie Allen and Erie Dobbins Harris; his wife Lelar "Odessa" Morrison Harris; and his siblings, Ruby Harris, Susie Triplett, Sallie Harris, Patricia Harris, Wesley Harris and Hughey Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn Roderick Harris (Kimberly) of Pittsboro, NC and Candace Harris Graham (Tracy) of Statesville, NC; and his grandchildren, Jacobi Xavier Harris, Jaela Marchel Harris and Joshua Harris Graham. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Damascus Baptist Church (265 Bouchelle Rd, Wilkesboro, NC 28697). A burial will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at the Scenic Memorial Gardens (545 Moravian Falls Rd, Wilkesboro, NC 28697).
