He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Grady and Vera Goodman Church; his wife Maggie "Edith" Jennings Church; and his siblings, Vetra Church, Bernice Snuggs, Paul Church, Silas Church, Ray Church and Gene Church.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Bowlin (Randy) of Millers Creek, Billy Church of North Wilkesboro, Steve Eller (Junie) of North Wilkesboro and Ricky Eller (Teresa) of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Casey Minton, Kati Petrey, Lathan Church, Colton Church, Nevin Johnson, Shana Johnson, Clayton Mathis and Sherri Cothren; his great grandchildren, Beckam Minton, Barrett Minton, Adam Mathis, Ansleigh Mathis, Jacey Cothren, Erin Cothren and Callum Johnson; his great great grandchildren, Paulina Johnson, Michael Johnson and Braylen Bell; and his brother Rex Church of North Wilkesboro.
