He is survived by: his daughter Melany Bowen of Statesboro; his grandchildren, Mary Bowen Partain (Chad) of Statesboro and Vance Durden Bowen (Sarah); his great grandchild Roy Wilder Bowen; his brother Robert Lane (Jerri) of Savannah; and his great-nephew John Lane (Helen Blackburn). He is also survived by several cousins, nephews.
