He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Donald and Josephine Brown; his aunt Gail Cleary; and his uncles, Sandy Brown and Hal Blackburn.
He is survived by: his parents, Shirlene Holland Brown and Michael Dean Brown (Kelley); his children, MacKenzie Spainhour-Brown, Moriah Brown and Michael Brown of Yadkinville; his sister Jennifer Shirlene Potter (Jimmy) of Granite Falls; his grandmother Shirley Holland of Wilkesboro; his nieces and nephews, Alexis Gail Potter of Granite Falls, Ethan Lee Potter of Granite Falls and Aiden Allen Shumate of Granite Falls; and his partner's children, Joseph and Lucy. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
