She was predeceased by: her father William Taft; her husband John Wesley Church, Sr.; and her brother Benjamin Harrison Phillips. She is survived by: her children, Mary Church (Terry) of State Road, NC and John Church of State Road; and her siblings, Lucille Mastin of Wilkesboro, Mae Williams (James) of Moravian Falls, Faye Anderson of Moravian Falls, Mary Ashley (Tommy) of North Wilkesboro, William Phillips (Dorothy) of Moravian Falls, James "Jimmy" Phillips of Wilkesboro, Joe Phillips (Virginia) of Ronda and Allen Phillips of Wilkesboro. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
