He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Cecil Vestal, Sr. and Minnie Howell Smoak Vestal; his grandson Tyler Vestal; and his sister Diane Vestal Inscore. He is survived by: his wife Joann Porter Vestal; his children, Vanya Vestal Baker (Robert) of Wilkesboro and Darryl Brian Vestal (Andrea) of Murrels Inlet, SC; his grandchildren, Michael Baker (Regina), Katie Vestal, David Baker, Chase Kimbrell (Tara) and Levi Vestal; and his great grandchildren, Penelope Wilson, Lincoln Wilson, Kingston Kimbrell and Sophia Kimbrell.
