We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2022, at the age of 70, William Daniel Calvert of Whittier, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Georgia Mae Funderburke Calvert; and his brother Jerry Wayne Calvert. He is survived by: his father Rev. William Henry Calvert (Mary Ann) of Lowell, NC; his wife Renee Calvert of Whittier, NC; his children, Jonathan Calvert (Carla Duff Calvert) of Treasure Island, FL, Shannon Calvert Pearson of Gastonia, NC and Dustin Hart of Myrtle Beach, SC; his sister Leesa McCraw of Gastonia, NC; his grandchildren, Allison Calvert, Morgan Pearson, Steven Duff and Summer Hart; his great grandchild Kinsley Pearson; the mother of his children Sue Abernathy of Gastonia, NC; and his pet Brody. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Hospice and Palliative Care of the Donor's Choice.
