He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy James Farmer. He is survived by: his children, James W. Farmer, Charles T. Farmer of Jacksonville, FL, Richard A. Farmer of Orlando, FL and Lydia Farmer Horday of Delray Beach, FL.. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.
