She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Cope and Charlotte Cope. She is survived by: her husband Cance Johnny Carnes; her daughter Lisa Melton (Kenny) of Sylva Additional; her grandchildren, Melissa Hill (John) of Sylva, Karen King (Ricky) of Whittier, Josh Carnes (Scotti) of Sylva, Kaitlyn, Daniel Melton, Morgan, Addie, Hannah, Joe, Wyatt, Inman and Davis; her brother Ed Cope (Shirley) of Franklin; her nephew Michael Cope (Melissa); and her great-niece Kristin McHan (Jake).
