With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Ann Ashe Miller of Whittier, North Carolina, born in Jackson, North Carolina, who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelious Ashe and Ethel Ashe (King); her husband Miller; her siblings, Gerlene Ashe, Pauline Kalin and Harl Ashe; and her great grandchild Easton Cagle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Rathbone (Mickey) and Mary Wilson (Cale); her siblings, Shirley Bumgarner, Elaine Jones (Marshall), Evelina Davis (Ralph), Opal Bumgarner (LC), Homer Ashe (Mary) and Cory Ashe (Peggy); her granddaughters, Brittany Hawkins (Blake) and Bethany Wilson; and her great grandchildren, Rylan and Axl Hawkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
