It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Worda Brown of Whitsett, North Carolina, born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, who passed away on December 16, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Atkinson and Lottie Atkinson. She is survived by: her children, Debra Ross (Eddie) and Andy "Dale" Brown, Jr. (Maria); her grandchildren, Matthew Ross (Cody), Samantha R. Brown (Brandon), Anna Elizabeth Brown (Nathan Everhart) and Caroline Nicole Brown; and her brothers, Troy Atkinson (Rosemary), Robert Atkinson (Elaine) and Jimmy Atkinson (Ann). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
