He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Anthony Gratzer and Margaret Harrison Gratzer; and his sister Patricia Tymofy. He is survived by: his spouse Cheryl Sue Gratzer; his children, Christine M. Neese of Alexandria, VA, Kevin R. Gratzer (Susan) of Tavares, FL and Jeffrey A. Gratzer (Colleen) of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Chase M. Neese, Taylor C. Gratzer, Nicole E. Gratzer, Natalie R. Gratzer, Noelle K. Gratzer and Nina M. Gratzer; and his sisters, Marjorie "Midge" Hughes (Roy) and Barbara A. Bursch (Edward). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
