He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bryan Vaden and Ruth Martin Vaden; and his siblings, Jamie Vaden, Floyd Vaden and Diane Webster.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Vaden; his daughters, Angela Vaden Tanner of Burlington and Candace Vaden Cuthbertson (Brian) of Guilford County; his grandchildren, Kiersten Tanner and Riley Cuthbertson; and his friend Tommy Gerner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
