She is survived by: her children, Chilon Ferrell Boone (Timothy) of Whitsett, NC and Andre LeMont Ferrell (Lauren) of Danville, VA; her grandchildren, Nicholas Boone, Nia Boone and Nerissa Boone; and her brother John Booker Hairston, Jr. (Linda) of Newport News, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
