He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Burroughs and Lizzie Burroughs; and his brothers, Wade and R. J. Burroughs. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Burroughs; his sons, Layne (Lora) and Brett Burroughs (Shawn); and his grandchildren, Cameron, Reagan, Luke, Ashleigh and Trinity.
